Wisconsin High School Basketball - Ladysmith edges Northwestern
February 6, 2023: Ladysmith, WI 54848 The Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) basketball nipped the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI), 61-54 in Monday's league test.
The Lumberjacks (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI). The Bulldogs go into the Heart O'North test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser was tipped by Barron (Barron, WI), 61-39, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cameron for a Heart O'North test on Tuesday, February 7. Northwestern will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 55-33 league loss to St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI). The Comets record now stands at 4-16.
