Rhode Island High School Basketball - Wheeler crushes Blackstone Valley Prep
February 6, 2024: Providence, RI 02906 Wheeler Warriors (Providence, RI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE (Cumberland, RI), 85-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wheeler upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Boston Trinity Academy (Boston, MA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Boston Trinity Academy lost 74-61 in their recent non-league bout against Lexington Christian Academy (Lexington, MA)
Next up, the PRIDE clash with the St. Patrick Academy Padres (Providence, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Blackstone Valley Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
