Kentucky High School Basketball - Woodford County crushes Bourbon County
February 6, 2024: Paris, KY 40361 Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), 67-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Woodford County upgrades its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Lafayette (Lexington, KY) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Generals come into the bout with a record of 8-14. Lafayette won 76-59 in their recent non-league bout against Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY)
Next up, the Colonels play the Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Bourbon County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 54-45 non-league win over Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY).
