The Tigers now possess a 22-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stillman Valley for a Big Northern battle on Friday, February 9. Byron will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 79-60 league loss to Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-20.
The Vikings (8-18) will now prepare for their battle against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks come into the Big Northern battle with a 14-13 record. In their last battle, Oregon prevailed over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL), 65-64, in a non-league battle.
