Illinois High School Basketball - Norris City-Omaha-Enfield knocked off by Cisne
February 6, 2024: Cisne, IL 62823 The Cisne Runnin' Lions basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals to 53 in the Runnin' Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Runnin' Lions now sport a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webber for a Midland Trail contest on Wednesday, February 7. Cisne will battle a Trojans team coming off a 71-50 non-league win over Zeigler-Royalton (Zeigler, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 24-3.
The Fighting Cardinals (6-20) will now prepare for their contest against Thompsonville (Thompsonville, IL). The enter the non-league contest with a 4-25 record. In their last contest, Thompsonville was defeated by Gallatin County (Junction, IL), 63-45, in a league contest.
