Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) and the visiting Covington Lions (Covington, LA), saw Northshore's basketball squad wallop Covington by a count of 71-50.

With the victory, Northshore upgrades its record to 13-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Slidell (Slidell, LA) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 6 challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 23-8. Slidell won 66-50 in their recent league test against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA)
