Missouri High School Basketball - DeKalb knocked off by Tarkio
February 6, 2024: DeKalb, MO 64440 The Tarkio Indians basketball team scored 69 points and held the host DeKalb Tigers to 53 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albany for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Tarkio will meet a Warriors team coming off a 62-38 league loss to Gallatin (Gallatin, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 6-15.
With the defeat, DeKalb moves to 2-18 on the year. The Tigers travel to Union Star (Union Star, MO) to face the Trojans in a Highway 275 game on Friday, February 9. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 1-17. Union Star lost 61-23 in their recent league game against North Nodaway (Hopkins, MO)
