February 6, 2024: Ottawa, IL 61350 The Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL), 48-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Morris (Morris, IL). The Redskins go into the Interstate Eight test with a 13-13 record. In their last test, Morris got by Coal City (Coal City, IL), 54-45, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Morton for a Mid-Illini test on Friday, February 9. Dunlap will encounter a Potters squad coming off a 41-35 league win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Potters record now stands at 24-4.
