Connecticut High School Basketball - Farmington can't hold off Southington
February 6, 2024: Southington, CT 06489 The Southington Blue Knights basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Farmington River Hawks to 39 in the Blue Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blue Knights now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simsbury for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Southington will battle a Trojans team coming off a 57-50 non-league win over Hall (West Hartford, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 5-10.
The River Hawks (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hall (West Hartford, CT). The Titans enter the Central Connecticut - West Colonial contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Hall was nudged by Simsbury (Simsbury, CT), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
