Illinois High School Basketball - Westminster Christian nips Illinois Math & Science Academy
February 6, 2024: Aurora, IL 60506 Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL), 45-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westminster Christian upgrades its record to 3-16 on the season. The Warriors travel to Westmont (Westmont, IL) to play the Sentinels in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 18-10. Westmont won 52-43 in their recent non-league bout against St. Anne (St. Anne, IL)
Next up, the Titans play the DePue Little Giants (DePue, IL) in a Little Ten bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Illinois Math & Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Little Giants go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 67-30 non-league loss to Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL).
