February 6, 2024: Chillicothe, IL 61523 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) and the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), saw Macomb's basketball squad wallop Illinois Valley Central by a tally of 54-22.
With the victory, Macomb improves its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Bombers host Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 20-6. Camp Point Central won 54-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Illini West (Carthage, IL)
Next up, the Grey Ghosts play the Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Illinois Valley Central will attempt to improve on its 15-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 72-61 league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL).
