Wisconsin High School Basketball - Port Edwards knocked off by Iola-Scandinavia
February 6, 2024: Iola, WI 54945 The Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Port Edwards Blackhawks to 43 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shiocton for a Central Wisconsin - East contest on Friday, February 9. Iola-Scandinavia will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Clintonville (Clintonville, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 10-9.
The Blackhawks (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-County (Plainfield, WI). The Penguins enter the Central Wisconsin - South contest with a 4-15 record.
