Kentucky High School Basketball - Lincoln County nips North Laurel
February 6, 2024: Stanford, KY 40484 Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY), 61-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lincoln County upgrades its record to 13-10 on the season. The Patriots travel to Danville (Danville, KY) to play the Admirals in a District 45 bout on Friday, February 9. The Admirals go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Danville lost 64-38 in their recent league bout against Boyle County (Danville, KY)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) in a District 49 bout, on Thursday, February 8. North Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 72-63 league win over Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY).
