Illinois High School Basketball - Lincolnwood can't hold off Brownstown/St. Elmo
February 6, 2024: Raymond, IL 62560 The Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Lincolnwood Lancers to 39 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Altamont for a National Trail contest on Friday, February 9. Brownstown/St. Elmo will battle a Indians team coming off a 65-41 league win over Neoga (Neoga, IL). The Indians record now stands at 17-6.
The Lancers (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Tornadoes enter the contest with a 2-22 record. In their last contest, Tri-City was nudged by South County (Franklin, IL), 52-32, in a league contest.
