Millbury Woolies (Millbury, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Millbury upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Woolies travel to Grafton (Grafton, MA) to play the Gators in a South Worcester County - A bout on Friday, February 9. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Grafton won 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA)

Next up, the Lancers play the Catholic Memorial Knights (West Roxbury, MA) in a Catholic bout, on Friday, February 9. Malden Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 16-1 record after their 81-44 non-league win over Hingham (Hingham, MA).
