The Lions now sport a 23-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Elm for a 6A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, February 9. McKinney will battle a Lobos team coming off a 83-73 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 14-16.
The Eagles (11-20) will now prepare for their battle against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region I District 5 battle with a 23-9 record. In their last battle, Guyer prevailed over Boyd (McKinney, TX), 63-40, in a league battle.
