Michigan High School Basketball - Oakridge crushes Morley Stanwood
February 6, 2024: Muskegon, MI 49442 Oakridge Eagles (Muskegon, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morley Stanwood Mohawks (Morley, MI), 72-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oakridge upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Eagles host Ludington (Ludington, MI) to play the Orioles in a Western Michigan Lakes - Lakes bout on Thursday, February 8. The Orioles go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Ludington won 74-45 in their recent league bout against Fremont (Fremont, MI)
Next up, the Mohawks play the West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Morley Stanwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 47-37 non-league win over Hastings (Hastings, MI).
