February 6, 2024: Saginaw, MI 48602 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) and the host Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons (Saginaw, MI), saw New Lothrop's basketball squad hold off Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy by a count of 43-40.
With the victory, New Lothrop upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI) to play the Indians in a Mid-Michigan challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 16-0. Chesaning won 64-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI)
Next up, the Dragons play the Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs (Owendale, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to North Huron (Kinde, MI).
