Arkansas High School Basketball - Rose Bud trounces Newport
February 6, 2024: Rose Bud, AR 72137 The Rose Bud Ramblers (Rose Bud, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR), 75-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Ramblers (11-13) will now prepare for their test against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Conway Christian was trounced by Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 57-41, in a league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 4-21 record. They play next when they travel to Marmaduke for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Newport will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 69-36 non-league win over Armorel (Armorel, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 19-16.
