February 6, 2024: Shawnee Mission, KS 66208 Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Olathe East Hawks (Olathe, KS), 76-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Shawnee Mission East upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Lancers travel to Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Mill Valley won 51-46 in their recent league bout against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS)
Next up, the Hawks play the Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Olathe East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 58-27 non-league win over Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS).
