Delaware High School Basketball - Archmere Academy fells Wilmington Friends
February 6, 2024: Claymont, DE 19703 Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE), 60-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Archmere Academy upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Auks host Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE) to play the Red Wolves in a Diamond State bout on Thursday, February 8. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Conrad Science won 56-39 in their recent non-league bout against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE)
Next up, the Quakers play the Tower Hill Hillers (Wilmington, DE) in a Independent Schools bout, on Friday, February 9. Wilmington Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
