Oklahoma High School Basketball - Kingfisher crushes Bishop McGuinness
February 6, 2024: Kingfisher, OK 73750 Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK), 64-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kingfisher upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Elk City (Elk City, OK) to clash with the Elks in a Western bout on Friday, February 9. The Elks go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Elk City won 39-36 in their recent non-league bout against Duncan (Duncan, OK)
Next up, the Fighting Irish clash with the North Rock Creek Cougars (Shawnee, OK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 52-38 league loss to Jones (Jones, OK).
