February 6, 2024: Goldsboro, NC 27530 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wayne Christian Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) and the visiting Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC), saw Wayne Christian's basketball squad wallop Coastal Christian by a tally of 59-30.
With the victory, Wayne Christian improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Cape Fear Academy won 53-40 in their recent league challenge against Greenfield (Wilson, NC)
