The Des Moines Demons basketball team (Des Moines, NM), dropped 59-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Questa Wildcats (Questa, NM)

The Wildcats now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penasco for a 2A District 5 battle on Thursday, February 8. Questa will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-45 league loss to Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 11-9.

The Demons (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils come into the A District 5 battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Springer prevailed over Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM), 59-14, in a non-league battle.
