Michigan High School Basketball - Ellsworth overwhelmed by Mancelona
February 6, 2024: Ellsworth, MI 49729 The Mancelona Ironmen basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Ellsworth Lancers to 32 in the Ironmen non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Ironmen now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary Cathedral for a Ski-Valley contest on Thursday, February 8. Mancelona will battle a Snowbirds team coming off a 45-23 league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, MI). The Snowbirds record now stands at 12-4.
The Lancers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alanson (Alanson, MI). The Vikings come into the Northern Lakes contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Alanson triumphed over Alba (Alba, MI), 61-12, in a non-league contest.
