The Monroe County Falcons basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Glasgow Scotties to 48 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland County for a District 16 contest on Thursday, February 8. Monroe County will meet a Panthers team coming off a 47-40 league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 13-9.

The Scotties (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Patriots enter the District 15 contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Allen County-Scottsville was defeated by Barren County (Glasgow, KY), 60-57, in a league contest.
