The Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA), 53-14 in Tuesday's league test.

The Indians (16-11) will now prepare for their test against GEO Next Generation (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 20-10 record. In their last test, GEO Next Generation was trounced by St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA), 45-39, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to Covington for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8. Tara will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 60-29 league loss to Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Lions record now stands at 8-16.
