Washington, DC High School Basketball - Mercersburg Academy overwhelms National Cathedral
February 6, 2024: Washington, DC 20016 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA) and the host National Cathedral (Washington, DC), saw Mercersburg Academy's basketball squad wallop National Cathedral by a tally of 55-25.
With the victory, Mercersburg Academy improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Blue Storm host Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ) to confront the Big Red in a Mid-Atlantic Prep challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Big Red come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Lawrenceville School lost 60-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA)
Next up, the confront the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD) in a Independent School challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. National Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
