Indiana High School Basketball - Twin Lakes can't hold off Kankakee Valley
February 6, 2024: Wheatfield, IN 46392 The Kankakee Valley Kougars basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Twin Lakes Indians to 36 in the Kougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Kougars now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calumet New Tech for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Kankakee Valley will battle a Warriors team coming off a 43-41 league win over Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN). The Athenians enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Crawfordsville was nudged by Lebanon (Lebanon, IN), 33-27, in a league contest.
