The Hyde Park Thunderbirds basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Crane Medical Cougars to 52 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Park for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Hyde Park will confront a Lions team coming off a 72-43 league win over Phillips (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 22-4.
