Kansas High School Basketball - Thomas More Prep-Marian bested by Sacred Heart
February 6, 2025: Salina, KS 67401 Sacred Heart Knights (Salina, KS) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs (Hays, KS), 68-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sacred Heart advances its record to 13-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS) to face the Lions in a North Central AA match on Friday, February 7. The Lions enter the match with a record of 4-9. Minneapolis lost 51-36 in their recent non-league match against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS)
The Monarchs now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Center for a Mid-Continent match on Friday, February 7. Thomas More Prep-Marian will face a Redmen squad coming off a 66-56 league loss to Hoxie (Hoxie, KS). The Redmen record now stands at 4-10.
