Kentucky High School Basketball - Simon Kenton overwhelms Boone County
February 6, 2025: Florence, KY 41042 The Simon Kenton Pioneers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Boone County Rebels to 2 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pioneers now have a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Conner for a non-league game on Monday, February 10. Simon Kenton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 51-45 non-league win over Scott (Covington, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 7-15.
With the loss, Boone County falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Rebels host Trimble County (Bedford, KY) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 8-8. Trimble County lost 54-37 in their recent league game against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY)
