The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) and the visiting Chester Volcanoes (Chester, CA), observed Quincy's basketball team edge Chester by a score of 42-35.

The Trojans (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Maxwell (Maxwell, CA). The Panthers come into the Mid-Valley challenge with a 3-17 record. In their last challenge, Maxwell edged Williams (Williams, CA), 49-14, in a league challenge.
