In Thursday's non-league test, the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) basketball squad trounced the visiting Deuel Cardinals (Clear Lake, SD), by a margin of 59-30.

The Tigers now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Elk Point-Jefferson for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Groton will confront a Huskies team coming off a 60-51 league loss to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Huskies record now stands at 13-3.
