New York High School Basketball - O'Neill can't hold off Highland
February 6, 2025: Highland Falls, NY 10922 Highland Huskies (Highland, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host O'Neill Raiders (Highland Falls, NY), 48-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Highland advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Huskies travel to Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY) to face the Bombers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Bombers enter the match with a record of 11-5. Pine Plains won 52-46 in their recent non-league match against Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY)
The Raiders now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. O'Neill will face a Presidents squad coming off a 60-33 league win over New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 8-5.
