The New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) varsity basketball team won Thursday's neutral tournament game against Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS) by a score of 31-27.
The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners basketball team scored 31 points and limited the host Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits to 27 in the Roadrunners non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Roadrunners now have a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wisconsin School for the Deaf for a non-league game on Friday, February 7.
With the defeat, Kansas School for the Deaf drops to 2-5 on the year.
