Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD), 49-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Parkston advances its record to 16-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Gregory (Gregory, SD) to face the Gorillas in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Gorillas enter the match with a record of 4-11. Gregory won 51-33 in their recent non-league match against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD)

The Rebels now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wolsey-Wessington for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8.
