Iowa High School Basketball - West Burlington knocks off Pekin
February 6, 2025: Packwood, IA 52580 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting West Burlington Falcons basketball team scored a good 41-27 win over the Pekin Panthers.
The Falcons (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Mt. Pleasant was topped by Keokuk (Keokuk, IA), 73-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the English Valleys Bears (North English, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Pekin will attempt to better on its 8-14 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 10-9 record after their 56-6 non-league win over Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA).
