Maryland High School Basketball - Mergenthaler Vo-Tech thwarts Coppin Academy
February 6, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21216 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs (Baltimore, MD) and the host Coppin Academy Golden Eagles (Baltimore, MD), observed Mergenthaler Vo-Tech's basketball team knock off Coppin Academy by a score of 67-49.
The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against City College (Baltimore, MD). The Black Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles encounter the Freire Charter School Wilmington Dragons (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Coppin Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record.
