Illinois High School Basketball - Teutopolis fells St. Anthony
February 6, 2026: Effingham, IL 62401 The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host St. Anthony Bulldogs to 43 in the Wooden Shoes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wooden Shoes now possess a 22-3 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a non-league game on Saturday, February 7. Teutopolis will confront a Maroons team coming off a 60-45 non-league win over Richland County (Olney, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 8-15.
With the defeat, St. Anthony drops to 17-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Farina South Central (Farina, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a National Trail outing on Tuesday, February 10. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 8-18. Farina South Central lost 70-42 in their recent league outing against St. Elmo/Brownstown (St. Elmo, IL)
