West Virginia High School Basketball - WestSide ripped by Logan
February 7, 2009: Logan, WV 25601 The Logan Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting WestSide Renegades to 40 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chapmanville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 11. Logan will meet a Tigers team coming off a 66-51 league loss to Poca (Poca, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
The Renegades (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots enter the Coalfield AA contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Independence trounced Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
