Oregon High School Basketball - Heritage nips Centennial
February 7, 2022: Gresham, OR 97030 Heritage Timberwolves (Vancouver, WA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR), 51-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Heritage upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Prairie (Vancouver, WA) to play the Falcons in a 3A Greater St. Helens bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Prairie won 62-45 in their recent non-league bout against Battle Ground (Battle Ground, WA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Nelson (Happy Valley, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood bout, on Wednesday, February 9. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 66-46 league loss to Central Catholic (Portland, OR).
