West Virginia High School Basketball - Charleston Catholic tops St. Marys
February 7, 2022: Charleston, WV 25301 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Charleston Catholic Irish (Charleston, WV) and the visiting St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV), saw Charleston Catholic's basketball squad knock off St. Marys by a count of 66-58.
With the victory, Charleston Catholic upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Irish host Poca (Poca, WV) to play the The Dots in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 11. The The Dots come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Poca won 59-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Buffalo (Buffalo, WV)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 9. St. Marys will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 57-47 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).
