Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeshore nips Buchanan
February 7, 2022: Stevensville, MI 49127 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) and the visiting Buchanan Bucks (Buchanan, MI), saw Lakeshore's basketball squad hold off Buchanan by a tally of 50-49.
With the victory, Lakeshore improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Lancers host Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI) to play the Knights in a Southwestern Michigan - East challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Norrix won 49-46 in their recent league challenge against Portage Northern (Portage, MI)
Next up, the Bucks play the River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Buchanan will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 37-26 league loss to Bridgman (Bridgman, MI).
