Wisconsin High School Basketball - Melrose-Mindoro nips Cashton
February 7, 2022: Melrose, WI 54642 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI) and the visiting Cashton Eagles (Cashton, WI), saw Melrose-Mindoro's basketball squad hold off Cashton by a tally of 58-54.
With the victory, Melrose-Mindoro improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Eleva-Strum (Strum, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Dairyland - Large challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Eleva-Strum lost 57-43 in their recent league challenge against Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City, WI)
Next up, the Eagles play the New Lisbon Rockets (New Lisbon, WI) in a Scenic Bluffs challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Cashton will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record.
