South Dakota High School Basketball - Wolsey-Wessington crushes Lake Preston
February 7, 2022: Lake Preston, SD 57249 Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds (Wolsey, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lake Preston Divers (Lake Preston, SD), 48-13 in a league bout.
With the win, Wolsey-Wessington upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Warbirds travel to Iroquois/Doland (Iroquois, SD) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, February 11. The go into the bout with a record of 3-14.
Next up, the Divers play the Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 10. Lake Preston will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 52-46 non-league win over Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD).
