New Jersey High School Basketball - Seneca can't hold off Moorestown
February 7, 2022: Moorestown, NJ 08057 The Moorestown Quakers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Seneca Golden Eagles to 46 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Quakers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pemberton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 9. Moorestown will battle a Hornets team coming off a 42-24 non-league win over Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 12-4.
The Golden Eagles (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Marlton, NJ). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Cherokee nudged Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ), 48-28, in a non-league contest.
