New York High School Basketball - Alden trounced by Sweet Home
February 7, 2023: Amherst, NY 14228 The Sweet Home Panthers routed the visiting Alden Bulldogs basketball team by a tally of 63-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Seneca East for a Section 6 Erie County II battle on Friday, February 10. Sweet Home will confront a Trojans team coming off a 53-38 league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 5-13.
The Bulldogs (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Bears come into the Section 6 Erie County IV battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Kennedy was overwhelmed by Eden (Eden, NY), 76-64, in a league battle.
