New Jersey High School Basketball - Becton can't hold off Eastern Christian
February 7, 2023: East Rutherford, NJ 07073 The Eastern Christian Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Becton Wildcats to 57 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgefield Memorial for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10.
The Wildcats (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Verona (Verona, NJ). The Hillbillies come into the non-league contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Verona was nudged by Orange (Orange, NJ), 49-41, in a non-league contest.
