Ohio High School Basketball - Waynedale can't hold off Central Christian
February 7, 2023: Kidron, OH 44636 The Waynedale Golden Bears basketball team (Apple Creek, OH), was nudged 47-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH)
The Comets now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield Christian for a Mid-Buckeye battle on Friday, February 10. Central Christian will battle a Flames team coming off a 55-53 non-league win over Tree of Life Christian (Columbus, OH). The Flames record now stands at 13-5.
The Golden Bears (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Rittman (Rittman, OH). The Indians come into the Wayne County battle with a 1-19 record. In their last battle, Rittman was nudged by Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH), 69-44, in a league battle.
